Work place location

Vir'Volt International work camp of Roissy-en-Brie

Welcome to this blog.

This year, I ll present you my second international work camp (chantier international) in Roissy-en-Brie, France, 40km from Paris.

Last year, in 2007, I was the technical supervisor of another work camp in Sommières, SW France, for Solidarités Jeunesses Languedoc Roussillon.

In 2008, from July, 2nd to July,27th, I ll gotta supervise 13 international volunteers to create a conviviality place for local inhabitants of a small town near Paris :

- building a stone wall with benches and flower beds
- setting up barbecues and picnic tables

As well this world camp is a good way to improve social interaction :

- between international students

- between local people desirous to involve in work and Roissy life

- between local young people and Youth association (Service Jeunesse), an active association trying to give the best for children and teenagers of Roissy.

The social supervisor of this world camp is Lisa-Marie, a german volunteer.
